Building with Bamboo presented their shared learning panel, Resilience: from Research to Practice, on Wednesday 28 March 2018. 16 practitioners and researchers participated at the webinar, they had the opportunity to learn about the latest lessons and challenges experienced by Resilience Champions during the learning and innovation cycle 3, and also, to further discuss resilience in street-connected children. Considerable atención y recursos se han dirigido a la reintegración de los diferentes grupos de niños en los últimos años, sin embargo, las evaluaciones rigurosas de estas intervenciones son poco frecuentes y no siempre está claro qué lecciones se han aprendido. Cuando las evaluaciones tienen lugar, el enfoque tiende a ser sobre si se han alcanzado los objetivos del programa, en lugar de sobre si las actividades beneficiaron a los niños y niñas o cómo y por qué tuvieron un impacto positivo. Considerable attention and resources have been targeted at the reintegration of different groups of children over the years, yet rigorous evaluations of these interventions are rare and it is not always clear what lessons are being learnt. When evaluations do take place, the focus tends to be on whether the programme objectives were achieved, rather than on whether the activities benefited the child or how and why they made a positive impact.
